Burnt Basque Cheesecake

If you suck at cooking anything, this is for you!  It LITERALLY has Burnt in the title because it actually gets so browned it looks burnt.  I can't count the amount of times I've made this and people offer their advice on "how not to burn it next time."  So when you make this, be prepared to hear everyone's take on what you did wrong. 

Now, how is this different from every other cheesecake you've ever had?  Two things.  One - it's crustless.  There is no crust at all with this, and you won't even miss it.  And two - It cooks on an extremely high temperature, much higher than a normal cheesecake which produces a super creamy texture not found in a normal cheesecake.

 When it comes down to it, no real special equipment is needed, although a springform pan definitely does make life easier, but it's not a deal breaker.  The recipe I always use for this can be found here

Just with a little patience, but no skill, you can serve your friends a cheesecake that will blow their mind (once you explain to them, No Karen, it's supposed to look burnt)
